911 was a tragedy which was felt by most people around the world. Five years later the pain is still there for many survivors, their families, and all of the USA. 911 was a defining momement for the USA as americans found out that oceans and borders, regardless how well they are policed, can no longer be depended upon to protect the USA. After 911 all of america and most of the world stood together as one in wanting to end such terrorism. Both Democrats and Republican politicians stood together on the steps of the Capital steps singing "God Bless America". Since then selfish partisan politics have exploited the issue for their own benefit. Unless we as a country does not stand together we risk loosing the war on terror. The hope and prayers of many of the survivors and people who still suffer over this great tragedy is that the best of America will stand together and win this war. The battles being fought may be the first battles of World War Three.
